How many revisions each project have?
The number of 'revisions' included is agreed before we start working together, and will be written in the contract. Usually there are 1 or 2 revisions, valid after up to 20 days after the first project version is delivered.(Also please refer to what is considered a 'revision').
For hourly rate projects, the number of revisions does not apply as the time required is added to the number of hours in
the project.
In case of script changes to previously recorded voiceovers, a new quote will be provided for re-recording.
What is considered a revision?
A revision includes the modification of simple parameters, i.e. changing a color, increasing the font size, changing a couple of words, and even modifying simple animations, such as Zoom In, Slow Fade On, Stretch, Blur, etc., music or voice volume levels, equalization fine-tuning or even an additional video or audio format (like MOV, MKV or WAV, MP3, etc) are included.
Major changes in the scene, duration, inclusion of new texts, images, logos, modification of complex animations, and of
course the inclusion of new scenes, changes in the order of the video (scene swaps), changing the music or voice over,
re-mastering, etc, will be catalogued as "changes", an a new quotation will be required to complete them.
We emphasize the Initial Planning and Scope stage, to reduce any doubts. We always suggest the client to do an internal review and organize their workflow before starting the project to ensure that they provide all the necessary information and that we both are clear about what they need.
This helps to complete the project faster, without stress, and within the budget.
Can we have more than 3 revisions, changes or request additional changes after the project ended?
For ongoing projects, completion of the remaining project payment will be required to proceed with a new set of revisions or additional changes. For completed projects, we will proceed as if it were a new project.
